Construction Robo Digibash by Air-Hammer Construction Robo Digibash by Air-Hammer
Thought I was going G2 next didn't you? :p  Nope this time we're going back before the days of Transformers.  This is the Version 2 color scheme to the Diaclone Construction Robo set released in Japan.

The best use of the mould that could ever happen. Am I the only one who found it funny they didn't give an actual name to the combined form of the Diaclone Construction Robo back in the day? Always thought Heracles or Atlas would work well.

I wouldn't mind seeing Build Team colours. Problem is, the colour scheme in combined mode would be different, considering the way the characters would combine would be different from the combination of the original Build King. Question is, what would the name and colours of the front loader and mixer be? Because of this, perhaps seeing in the original 1992 Sixbuilder colours would make more sense.

quickmix and scoop just toss em in the group, i mean you have hook as hightower, long haul as heavyload, wedge from bonecrusher, and grimlock from scavenger, its perfect

Great! I have always wanted to see a Diaclone themed constructicon team repaint, this is awesome. The constructicon lime-purple color scheme is already a trademark, but I still think that colorful construction vehicles are really interesting. As much as the movie itself sucked, the design of Revenge of the Fallen Devastator was really nice, and the realistic colored vehicles were part of it. Emphasis on "the design", though, because then, they went and ruined it by not having proper toys of them.

Anyways, nice work, as always :)

Are they're Autobots?

They're neither Autobot or Decepticon.  In the early 80s Takara had a line of transforming robot toys under the name Diaclone.  When Hasbro partnered with Takara they took some of those toys and created characters and a storyline out of them.  Thus the Transformers were born.  The Construction Robo team became the Constructicons.

And if i remember correctly they are literally all clones in the toy line hence why in the powered convoy commercial you saw like 20 of him and the many repaints of molds that would become ironhide, sunstreaker, sideswipe, hoist, and skids, also the battle convoy becoming optimus

Im hoping to see a powered convoy/delta magnus out of the leader class with maybe dion in place of minumus or even sentinel maximus with apelinq instead of minimus
